Here you can find information regardring covid-19 and links to other authorities in English.
In the assessment of the Public Health Agency of Sweden, there is currently a very high risk of general spread of infection from coronavirus/COVID-19.
As a person living in Sweden, you are encouraged to avoid social contact with others if you have symptoms of respiratory infection, even mild symptoms. Public gatherings of more than 50 people are currently banned. The Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs is currently advising against unnecessary travel to any other country.
Lomma Municipality is following developments regarding coronavirus and the directives and recommendations issued by Swedish authorities. Changed conditions and new decisions could entail changes to applicable rules and recommendations.
On 31 March, the Swedish Government decided to impose a ban on visits to all retirement homes in the country, in order to prevent the spread of infection from COVID-19.
On 17 March, the Public Health Agency of Sweden recommended that teaching in upper secondary schools should not be conducted in school premises, but should instead take place via remote or distance teaching. An equivalent recommendation also applies to universities, higher vocational education and municipal adult education e.g. Komvux.
In Lomma Municipality, this affects the SFI (Swedish for Immigrants) course, which is currently being provided via distance teaching. Other young people and students are encouraged to follow the information and instructions provided by their schools or universities.
All events arranged by the municipality have been cancelled until further notice. This applies to all events – at libraries and our meeting places as well as other units and locations. Information about available digital events can be found at https://lomma.se/coronakultur.
If you would like to help others by working as a volunteer, or if you are in need of assistance, more information is available under Volunteer work - help others or receive assistance (Swedish text).
